Amazing facts about the moon

Lately I have been reading a lot of Dan Jackson's books to my son. I wish I were a lionAmazing facts about sharks, Mom Journey:Practical Tips for Raising Kids, and I wish I were a shark are a few other books I  have read. This time we chose Amazing facts about the moon.

As usual, I read this book to my son before he went to bed. We both enjoyed all of the neat pictures in this book. It is also filled with really interesting facts about the moon. For example, "The Moon revolves around the Earth at a distance between 363,000 km (roughly 225,000 miles) and 405,000 km (roughly 251,000 miles). Though it may seem like a lot, it is the closest celestial object to Earth." I also thought this "The Moon's temperature during the day is around 100 degrees Celsius (212 Fahrenheit). During the night the temperature drops to -170 Celsius (-274 Fahrenheit)." was very interesting.

I have a few more books to read by Dan Jackson. I can not wait to read them with my son. His books are full of great pictures and are perfect bedtime story.

You can buy this fact filled book here.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
