Mosquito Repellent Incense Sticks

I not only live in Florida but I live in the Tampa Bay Area. I live extremely close to a bay of water, which means I not only battle mosquitos but also deal with no-see-ums!

I have two kids and I really dislike using the spray on mosquito repellant. I have a two year old and a 7 month old. Every time I turn around they either have their fingers in their mouth or my son will have his foot in his mouth or he will be sucking on his arm.

As usual I did a little research and found this on Amazon:

KEEP PESKY CRITTERS AWAY

Keep black flies, mosquitoes, and other biting insects from pestering and ruining your outdoor events. Let these old-fashioned punk sticks help you fight the bite. When lit, the smoke drives away bugs, but isn't offensive to people so you can enjoy the great outdoors pest-free! It is a 100% natural mosquito repellent which is safe for use around children and pets.

DURATION
Each 10½" stick burns just shy of an hour; it depends on the wind factor. Wind will reduce the burn time.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
When using these sticks, place 4 sticks approx. 10 - 12 feet apart in a general square area from each other. See diagram located in the photos.

Remember that it is best to fight the pesky mosquitos when it gets close to dusk or at dawn. However, you can use these sticks at any time.

If you plan to remain in the area for an extended period, we recommend you place them in pairs in each desired location - lighting one at a time. You can light up the next stick when the time comes.

CAUTION

Keep children and pets away from burning incense sticks. Even if you have blown out the flame touching the sticks may burn.

I really like this product because it is deet free and non toxic. Also, unlike a candle, there is no open flame!

I used it for the first time, the kiddos where napping and I had a moment to relax outside by myself. It did not have a strong scent and seemed to really work and repel mosquitos!

I will definitely be using this product again when my little man is outside!
