I am a mom to two wonderful kiddos. My son Wyatt is 2 years and my daughter is 5 months old. In 2 plus years we have gone through a LOT of diapers. I always wondered how many diapers we have gone through. I lost track of how many LONG ago! This made me curious, how many diapers do we go through in one year? I did a little searching to find a "Guesstimate" amount and I found this:"In a baby s first year, new parents will have brought home an average of 2,788 diapers for a total cost of $557.60" Of course both the amount of diapers and especially the price wont always be the same. For example, I recently bought 2 boxes of diapers for the price of one. Anyways, that's a lot of diapers and a TON of waste products! I couldnt imagine how many dirty diapers the whole world produces if ONE baby goes through THAT many diapers one year.

Dirty Diapers... YUCK! |
It was not until recently that I reallly started to look into cloth diapering. When i originally started to think of trying it out, we did not have a washing machine, so I passed just for the convenience factor. Not only that but my fiance' and I would only go to the laundry mat once maybe twice a month. Meaning we would just shove all of our clothes in together trying to spend the least amount of money cleaning them. Right now, I personally am thinking of using cloth diapers part-time.
Once I decided that I went online to research some cloth diaper brands. I didn't want to just go with the most widely used brand. I would rather look around and do my research pick my top favorite brands.
I was happy when I came across FuzziBunz. Their website is so warm and welcoming. Their site is packed full of useful information. Everything you need to know about cloth diapering is on their site.
I also really enjoyed reading the FuzziBunz Story. Read about how they began, here. I also loved how this website not only has all the products you need for cloth diapering, but many other products as well. From a diaper sprayer attachment for your shower to mom products like cloth pads, this website has it all!
As for cloth diapers there are two kinds. Here is the description from FuzziBunz website:
One Size
The unmatched adjustability of the One Size diapers allow the fit to be customized as the child grows. The multiple settings of the waist and leg elastics, combined with the multiple snap positions and unique button and snap orientations, allow a close and comfortable fit that performs well without being constrictive.
The One Size – Small is designed to fit most children from birth to toilet training.
The One Size – Large is designed for larger children. The OS – Large may also be suitable for late trainers, overnight security or bed wetters.
Perfect Size
Perfect Size diapers are adjustable within given ranges using the multiple snap orientations. These diapers are available in multiple sizes designed to match the child’s developmental needs. The X-Small Perfect Size FuzziBunz® fits newborns securely through the first months of rapid growth. The design of the Small considers the posture of a sitting and crawling child, while the Medium and Large shapes better accommodate the needs of an active toddler.
I was extremely excited when I was given the opportunity to try out one of these diapers for my Holiday Gift Guide.
I received the One Size diaper in Large in Caribbean. First thing I thought was, I LOVE this color blue!
I was so excited to get this diaper in the mail! It felt like Christmas when I ripped through the package!
Even though it says this size of diaper is best for larger children, my son was taking a nap and I wanted to see it on RIGHT THEN! (Haha) So, I volunteered my 5 month old daughter to model the diaper.
Lets save the Earth by eliminating waste! Use cloth diapers and washable feminine pads. Both of these products can be bought through FuzziBunz here.

These are so cute. It's awesome that they can customize the size like that.
