Airbac The Solution to a Heavy Backpack

School is an important thing in ones life. Depending of if you had to repeat a grade or not, it takes at LEAST 18 years to graduate High School. If you decide to go to college that is at LEAST another 2 years of school. As you go through school the books only get bigger and heavier. Carrying a backpack just gets more and more difficult.

Carrying such a heavy backpack is very bad for your back, especially when that person is a child. Usually you had one of two options, tough it out and wear the heavy backpack or have one of those "roll-ey" backpacks that EVERYONE hated.

During high school I was one of those kids with the rolling backpacks. I did not have to worry about damaging my back, but it did make getting down the hallways extremely difficult. Usually when someone was behind me walking down the hall, they would usually would end up kicking my backpack. No one liked the "roll-ey" backpacks, but at that time there was no other alternative.

Recently I came upon a company called Airbac. This company created a backpack with a patented air support system. This helps properly position the backpack above your waistline, so it takes the weight off your back and shoulders. Wearing this backpack you feel like you are wearing HALF the weight!

I was extremely happy when I was given the opportunity to review this backpack. I received the Groovy Day Pack Backpack and I absolutely LOVE it!

Front of the backpack

First impression I had about the backpack was how much I loved the pattern I chose. I really liked how most of the backpack is a dark fabric with the tie-dye in the front and splashes of color throughout the rest of it.

I hope to start college again in January to finish my degree. I will be in the Radiography program at the local community college.  I know when I start classes, I will have VERY heavy books. I can not wait to take my backpack to classes!

In the meantime I have been using the backpack to cart around my 7 year old laptop, which is VERY heavy. I can not believe the difference! Normally my poor back would be so sore from carrying around my laptop and any other supplies I decided to take with me.
With the combination of the patented air support system and the well padded areas of the backpack, it really did feel like I was only carrying half the weight!

Amazing padding on the straps!
Awesome padding for your back

I also really liked all the space this backpack has. It has a nice area inside for your laptop or tablet and lots of room for books.

Large area for books and a nice pouch

There is a front pouch where you can put small things like an agenda and some pencils and pens. There are also two pouches on each side for a water bottle.

This backpack was well made with quality materials. I will definitely get many years of use out of it.

I wish I had this backpack back in High School! This would have made my day at school so much easier! I have a 2 year old son and a 5 month old daughter. I know exactly what backpack I will be getting them for school (once they start carrying all the heavy backpacks that is!).
Not only is this the smartest idea I have ever seen, this backpack  is well made with quality materials, and REALLY WORKS!

I highly recommend this backpack.

  1. Thank you for bringing this amazing product to our attention, I am definitely going to check out their site for my oldest daughter!

  2. thank you for this review my son could so use this .

  3. Wow, I am going to check out their site! My daughter was diagnosed with chest wall inflammation from carrying a heavy backpack. She was on antibiotics and had fluid on her lung..all from a backpack. They aren't allowed to have rolling backpacks and I didn't know that these even existed!

  4. Those are adorable. I was sitting here trying to remember me ever and I just can't.
