Potty Training: Potty Training Chart: Ultimate Potty Training Chart

My son Wyatt is 2 years old. I have been trying to potty train him, which has been a really hard task. A hand full of months ago he got a posterior tongue tie fixed. I had no clue what that was until my daughter was born 5/30/2014. Since he had a tongue tie for so long it has caused a slight speech delay. He will not use sign language or verbally that he has to go potty. Sometimes he will bring a diaper when he needs a diaper change, which is a step in the right direction. When he does sit on the toilet he gets antsy, irritated and does not do anything on the toilet. Not long trying to use the  he usually soils his diaper.

Recently I decided that I REALLY need to get serious about potty training. I was super excited when I got this chart. It comes with 4 sections of double sided sticky foam pieces. This made it extremely easy to put up! It also comes with a dry erase marker and an empty row to add your own personalized touch to the chart. It comes with a sheet of smiley face stickers and a sheet of star stickers to put on the chart. There is also a website where you can go to and print out a certificate once your child is potty trained. How cool is that!!!

As you see the only thing Wyatt has done so far is practice flushing and washing his hands. I also added my own line that says I did NOT throw a fit.

I will keep trying putting him on the toilet every day. Hopefully we will be able to print out the certificate of being potty trained soon!
