So, I have been slowing down with the amount of books I am reading. I got a little click happy with being a product reviewer. All of these book review deadlines (yes it IS work and I have a deadline) have snuck up on me! I have been really slow at reading this book. I have only read a hand full of chapters.Recently it has been even harder to accomplish much, with the kiddos and I being sick! So, I apologize if my review on this is short. I spoil the ending of a book anyways... Sorry!

I always like to read up on a book before I read it. I know it sounds silly but, I did not want to take on a project and not be able to finish it because I absolutely disliked the book

This really caught my eye and made me want to read this book. So far, I can not put it down (okay yes I can, I have two kids and need both hands to change a diaper! haha). Like I said I am only a few chapters in and I really am enjoying this book. 

This book is so far a really good read and I highly recommend reading it!

I am a mommy to two wonderful kiddos. Wyatt is 2 years old and Samantha is 5 months old. I may have a second child but I definitely am new to a LOT of things when it comes to being a parent.

I NEVER anticipating the amount of diapers I would go through. I NEVER anticipated how much my name "Mom" would be used! I NEVER anticipated how much WIIIIIIINEEEEEE I would get (too bad its "non-alcoholic" wine! haha)

I read a tip book for moms a while ago, but I felt like I wanted some more opinions to help me with being a mom.

I really apologize I wont be able to go into extreme detail about this book. I have a lot going on right now. My kids and I are sick, I will know if I made it into the college program I applied to tomorrow, I have a 5k run tomorrow, my future in laws come in town the second week of November, AND were house hunting!!

I am currently reading this book I really like how the book goes into detail about specific things a mom has to deal with. The book has chapters like Diapers, Eating Ruler, Love and Praise, Second Child,  and Whose the Boss.

Although I am not finished with this book I have already gained some very valuable pieces of information.

Leather Cleaner

My parents have this really nice red sofa. We have had it for SO many years, I even for get exactly how long its been around! It is one of those , "I can cat nap on this all day" sofas.

The poor sofa has been kind of abused though. My sister has a dog named Spud, who liked to run circles in my parents old house. He would use this sofa as a ramp or just plain old bounce off it. He also liked to sit on top of it like a cat would! Silly dog!

Even though my mom tried to keep a blanket or towel on the sofa to save it, Spud would usually bunch it up or knock it off. My parents had a product hanging around the house for leather maintenance. They kept saying they would use it on the sofa or their green leather chair, but never did. My dad had his own law firm. My sister and I constantly had things to do, friends, school projects etc. We were one busy family!

Now that I am 26 and no longer living at home and my sister is more independent, with a job and her own car; my parents have a little extra time on their hands.

I was SO happy to be given the opportunity to review this product! My mom's couch was in DESPERATE need of some TLC! I also was given the opportunity to review their Leather Conditioner & Restorer! (Which I will talk into detail about in a different review.)

Leather Conditioner & Restorer

Here is a continuation from my last review about the Leather Cleanser!

Once my mom followed the instructions on the cleanser and finished that. Next, she followed the simple instructions on the Cleanser and Restorer bottle.

Once she was done with the couch she immediately called me to let me know how much she LOVED these products.
Her couch looked amazing, better than it has looked in years!

I was super eager to see the couch after she used these products on it. I quickly got off the phone so she could text me a picture.

Faburo Back Brace for Posture Support and Back Pain

I apologize for the short review. I am sick and so are my kids.
Although, this product is good enough that it really does not require a lengthy review

I am not very proud to say this. Not only do I have poor posture, but I am pretty sure it has a play in the occasional back pain I have.
I know partly is because I had an epidural and a spinal block. At times, my back tweaks out in the areas the epidural and spinal block was done.

I did a little research before I got the back brace. I found this:

It took me a few times to get adjusted just right. Once I was able to get it properly adjusted, with in the next 30 minutes I could tell a HUGE difference. I maintained better posture and my back did not bother me nearly as much.

Dr Song Rosehip Oil

I absolutely LOVE anything I can use to pamper myself. I have two kiddos; my son is 2 years and my daughter is 5 months old. I do not usually get to go to a salon or a spa. My "spa day" is a nice long shower and getting to use my products at home. I love trying out different products, even if its the same product but made by different companies.

I do not have an even complexion. Having two kids, a dog bite incident, and growing older, my skin is not at all like it was when I was younger.

I really like this product for many reasons. First, it comes in a gigantic 4 oz bottle. I really liked how I only need to use a little bit. This is going to last me a LONG time! I have sensitive skin and this product did not irritate my skin.

I usually take evening showers. Every night after my shower I would do my "spa day" regiment. I would plan my regiment around how my skin was that day.  If it was dry, I would apply to my dry areas and my stretch mark areas. If my skin was not dry I would only apply it to my stretch mark areas and the scarring on my face.

I am very pleased with the results I have seen using this product.
This product is very easy to use and great for sensitive skin. My skin is noticeably softer after using this product.

My Konjac Sponge All Natural Fiber Baby Bath Sponge

A while ago I went on a konjac sponge kick. I tried out about 4-5 different types of konjac sponges!

In my review for the My Konjac Facial Sponge I mentioned I had kids. The company saw this and gave me the opportunity to try out their My Konjac Sponge for babies. I eagerly accepted their offer. I absolutely loved their facial sponge and could not wait to try their baby sponge.

I was really surprised when I got the sponge in the mail, its HUGE! I immediately used the sponge to bathe my kiddos that evening. I thought I had a picture of the sponge, but I think my 2 year old son or I accidentally deleted a few pictures on accident.

That evening when I bathed them, they were not dirty. It was just a relaxing bath before bed. Other than giving their hair a quick scrub, I did not see any point in cracking out the body wash. Especially when I had this amazing Konjac sponge!

I absolutely LOVE the sponge. It is so soft, I almost want steal it and use it for myself! haha! The sponge is great for sensitive skin and did an awesome job of cleaning my little ones.

A while ago I had been seeing a lot of babies with these necklaces on. I thought to myself, why would you put a necklace on a baby so young? Until, I attended a breastfeeding event, I never had a chance to ask about this necklace. After I saw one baby wearing the necklace, I started seeing these things EVERYWHERE? Whats they hype over these necklaces, I thought.

Once I was able to really sit down and ask a mom about this necklace, I then understood, well sort of. At first I thought it as something baby could chew on. Once I realized that that was not the case I started to do some research of my own. I found this:

At first, I could not get him to quit playing with it. As you can see in the photo, his hands are up by the necklace and hes giving this look. I was trying to get his attention for the picture AND tell him not to mess with the necklace.

To be completely honest, he wore the necklace that day and that evening we took it off to give him a bath. After the bath he went to bed and we completely forgot to put it on again the next day. We actually forgot to put it back on him for quite some time.

Earlier this week I found the necklace while cleaning off my dresser, woops! I decided to put it back on him. Now he pretty much wears it 24/7, minus bath time. He no longer wants to tug at it, he most likely forgot its even there.

I have noticed a decrease in his fussy moments. Is it the necklace, I honestly do not know. Either way my little man looks adorable in it and has finally left it alone so it will remain on.

AminoHD 1000 BCAA

I apologize for the short review, I have been sick and dealing with two sick kiddos.

Lately I have been getting really serious about being healthier and more active. I try to exercise daily. I say TRY because the last couple weeks due to me and the kiddos getting sick , getting better, only to get sick again! Not Fun! I have actually slacked with taking my vitamins (well anything other than my multivitamin).

Before I decided to try this product I did some research first. I found this information on Amazon:

Branched-chain amino acids (BCAA) are game changers. Not only are they integral to cell health and speedy recovery and growth; free-form BCAA also does NOT get stuck in the liver, but shoots straight through to your muscles. Airbac The Solution to a Heavy Backpack

School is an important thing in ones life. Depending of if you had to repeat a grade or not, it takes at LEAST 18 years to graduate High School. If you decide to go to college that is at LEAST another 2 years of school. As you go through school the books only get bigger and heavier. Carrying a backpack just gets more and more difficult.

First impression I had about the backpack was how much I loved the pattern I chose. I really liked how most of the backpack is a dark fabric with the tie-dye in the front and splashes of color throughout the rest of it.

I hope to start college again in January to finish my degree. I will be in the Radiography program at the local community college.  I know when I start classes, I will have VERY heavy books. I can not wait to take my backpack to classes!

In the meantime I have been using the backpack to cart around my 7 year old laptop, which is VERY heavy. I can not believe the difference! Normally my poor back would be so sore from carrying around my laptop and any other supplies I decided to take with me.
With the combination of the patented air support system and the well padded areas of the backpack, it really did feel like I was only carrying half the weight!

I wish I had this backpack back in High School! This would have made my day at school so much easier! I have a 2 year old son and a 5 month old daughter. I know exactly what backpack I will be getting them for school (once they start carrying all the heavy backpacks that is!). 
Not only is this the smartest idea I have ever seen, this backpack  is well made with quality materials, and REALLY WORKS!

Ever since I was in High School I played with the idea of  getting a breast lift. At one point in my life I gained a lot of weight and actually wanted a breast reduction! I started using this as soon as it came in the mail. I had just recently stopped breastfeeding (I had dried up :-[ ) and figured it would be the perfect time to test it out! It is really easy to use. Just take a dollop and massage in a circular motion on each side until your skin absorbs the product. 

I do this twice a day, In the morning when I wake up and right before I go to bed. 
The solution itself is a thick white cream-like gel. Personally the smell of it reminds me of Dial soap. A nice clean smell

I have not been using this product for long and I actually kind of slacked with using it. My kiddos have been off and on sick and I kind of put my daily routine on the back burner. So anything like my vitamins, beauty routine, anything other than trying to survive through the day with two sick kids was sort of forgotten. I know, I know, I should not do that. Since the kiddos and I are feeling better; I am starting back at my normal routine tomorrow.

When I was actively using the product, I could tell it was doing something. I can kind of compare it to when I was pregnant with my little ones. It was really close to the sensation of my breasts developing as I progressed through the pregnancy. I have not noticed any significant changes while I was using it. I am hoping once I start using this product again, I will see a big difference.

Trim Nutrition POWERCELL & Giveaway

I have to say, I have become a fan of Trim Nutrition's products! This is the third product I have tried so far. Each of their products I try , I end up telling EVERYONE about.

Lately I have slacked with taking my vitamins ( I have quite a few I take). My kiddos recently got sick and I have fallen behind in my blogging. I have obligations and deadlines I have to meet, I REFUSE to miss a deadline! Even if it means I am up till midnight or later!

I should have been taking my Power Cell all along. Maybe I would not be getting sick again if I had not slacked!

Power Cell alone I could tell really did help strengthen my nails. I have been biting my nails since I was about 10 years old. The reason being a combination of a way to cope with stress and me irritated at my nails being so flimsy when I do grow them out. I could even tell the anti-oxidants worked well. I had not gotten sick for a while, then I slacked off with everything and got sick!

I highly recommend this product along with any other product by Trim Nutrition.
They not only have great quality products, but they also REALLY WORK!

Thirty Scary Tales (ebook)

Halloween is right around the corner. Haunted houses, scary decorations , and talk of costumes fill social media. I personally am in the process of figuring out costumes for my two kiddos! Looks like my 2 year old son will be a sailor and my 4 month old daughter will be a ... hmm... I am not sure what to call it. She will be all dolled up. Pink dress and stockings and an adorable pink bow!

Anyways! In the spirit of Halloween I decided to read some scaaaaaary stories!

I really like this book because it has 30 stories! That is one story for each day of October up until Halloween! I would have read the stories this way, but my babies and I got sick. We were JUST getting over from being sick and we are feeling under the weather AGAIN! Not fun!

I am currently slowly reading through these Thirty Scary Tales, These stories are really good! With titles like The Devil You Know, Night Train, and Disturbed Sleep this book is a great read for the month of Halloween!

Since I think this book is such a good read, I have decided not to spoil ANYTHING. Not even one sentence, Sorry!!

E-Book: I Wish I Were a LION

SHORT BOOK REVIEW!!

Lately I have been stocking up children's books. Right now my son Wyatt is only 2. We usually read him a book before he goes to bed each evening. I figure these books will come in handy, sooner or later he will be learning to read.

I really liked this book. It was packed full of cute pictures of lions. Under each photo there was a reason why they want to be a lion. For example, most often lioness does all the hunting and they hunt large mammals like zebras, antelope, gazelles and buffalo. Each adult lion needs 10-15 pounds of meat every day.
I knew a few things about lions but , this book had quite a few things I did not know. For example,  Lions can stay four days without drinking. Lions do hunting most often at night until dawn.

I read this to my son one evening. Each time I turned the page, he pointed and said his version of "kitty".
We really enjoyed reading this book together. When we were finished with the book he insisted on reading it again. My son enjoyed the book so much that, my fiance' also read it to Wyatt another evening.

Ebook - No, No, No, No, No, Yes. Insights From a Creative Journey

Throughout my life I have become very familiar with the word NO, especially when it came to food. My mom was a BIG health nut when I was a kid. I always got string cheese, carrot sticks and crackers as snacks for lunch. In the grocery store, I would try to pick stuff out for school lunch. Mom can I have Gushers? No Can I have fruit snacks? No Can I have Fruit Roll up? No Can I pleeeeeeease have fun sticks???? NO!!!! Always no! NO running, NO yelling, NO talking back. NO, NO, NO , NO!!!

At first I thought No was just a word parents loved to use. As I grew up I realized NO was a popular word EVERYWHERE.  I did not let the word NO defeat me though! I just kept going and figuring out ways to accomplish things with out NO getting in my way.

Normally I have been pretty good at being strong and not letting the word no get in the way. Lately I have not had much luck with anything. Not that the word no was literally said but a lot of things just had not been in my favor. I really want to go back to school and I had applied to the program I wanted to major in. I was overly happy that I was approved! The only downside? I found out 3 months before that I was pregnant! So going to school was a big fat NO! This continued to, I wont be able to go to school anyways because daycare costs an arm and a leg! Another NO!

I really learned a bunch when I read this book. No is not the end, no is just a stepping stone in life. Something that you can OVERCOME! All you have to do is step back, re-think things and go at it again! Granted you might get another NO. If you continue to overcome the no's thrown at you, one day you might get a YES!

I really enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend this book.
