First, I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Courtney and I am 26 years old. I am a mommy to two wonderful children. My little man Wyatt is 2 and my princess is almost 4 months ( boy does time fly!). I started using this product along with my exercise regiment (which I am still working on and tweaking). My goals are to lose weight for my upcoming wedding in April and to form healthier habits.
Trim Nutrition is the company I went through to get my Whey Powder protein shakes.
Their protein shakes come in 4 flavors Chocolate, Vanilla, Apple Cinnamon and Mocha Latte'.
I spoke with a Trim Nutrition representative, who was extremely helpful, and he suggested drinking
this as a breakfast meal supplement. At first I tried out the single
serve packets of the flavors Chocolate, Vanilla and Apple Cinnamon. ( I
hope to soon try the Mocha Latte flavor !)
I really liked all the flavors I tried! The apple Cinnamon tasted just like an apple pie! YUM!
I
decided to stick with Chocolate since I am like the biggest Chocoholic
ever! I enjoyed adding a banana to my shake one morning and another
morning I added a small glob of peanut butter with my shake... SUPER
YUMMY! It also tastes good to add a sprinkle of cinnamon into the shake!
There are also many other things you can add to spice up your shake for the day! Ive also heard of some people adding a scoop of frozen yogurt as a treat. It doesn't hurt to splurge once in a while, just have to make sure you don't make a habit of doing it all the time! :-)
In
addition to my morning breakfast shake so far I have been working out
once a week. Through the Meetup app on my phone, I found a fitness coach who offers free
exercise classes. So far we have done Focus T25, P90x, and 21 day fix
exercises. The class is an hour long and boy does it kick my butt!! I
also just recently finished a 5k walk/run called The Flavor Run. I had a
blast! To step it up with my exercise routine, as soon as September is over, I will start one of those 30 day
challenges. I am thinking about doing the ab crunches one, where you do
multiple different types of crunches every day, for a whole month. After
that 30 day
challenge I plan on moving on to another one!
I am extremely
happy with my results from the exercise and whey protein shake combo. I
so far have lost 3 lbs and that is from just drinking my shake every morning, watching what I eat and working out ONCE a week! The last time I weighed myself was before the 5k run, so I am eager to see what
progress I have made since then! Below is my most current progress photo... I had only taken two (I know I need to take more!). My first photo I posted to facebook and i guess it was deleted by the groups admin because i was in my underwear and bra. In the photo I was completely covered , probably more covered up than some bathing suits out there, oh well. I looked in my phone and I guess it never saved there , so ... Ill make this my starting point photo. There was not that much of a difference between the photos anyways. I cant wait to continue my Trim Fuel journey and reach my goal of becoming healthier (yes I will be taking and posting more progress photos!)
