Phytopia Tranquility Essential Oil for Anxiety & Stress Relief

I am a naturally anxious person and I also have Aspergers Sydrome. For those who may not know, Aspergers Syndrome is commonly coupled with other disorders like ADD, ADHD, Anxiety, and most commonly depression. I had been on anti-anxiety/depression medication for as long as I could remember up until to 2007. It has been 9 years since I needed any medication intervention for stress. Being that said I still struggle from time to time to be able to relax and unwind.

I have a stressful job, which I recently gave my 2 weeks notice in. I just started a new job working completely different hours. I also am a mom and a college student. What does this say to me? Stress, stress and more stress!

Not long ago I was given the opportunity to try out a product by Phytopia. It is a tranquil essential oil for stress and anxiety! I have tried other essential oils before like lemon and peppermint, but this one is way different!

First thing I like about it is the extra care they put into the product. It came in this super cute box and in the box was this little satchel.

 The oil itself I honestly figured it would be just like all the other essential oils I have tried... Super concentrated and needed to be mixed with something. Boy was i WRONG!

Once I was actually able to take a moment away from my crazy life and open the cute box... I found out that this product is ready to use! All you have to do is apply a small amount to your neck and shoulders and voila! It smells amazing and TOTALLY works with relaxing me after a crazy day of work, school, and kids!

 My mom loves to come over to my house to see my kids. She will stay the night to help me out. I love being able to see my mom! The only thing that frustrates me and the rest of my family is the fact she always, I mean ALWAYS forgets her phone charger.

I own an Android phone and my mom owns an Iphone. Every time she asks to borrow my charger, I look at her like... mom? have you not asked me that 10 million times before? Now I do not have to worry about it!

I recently go the opportunity to review IHome's five foot 2-in-1 lightning cable. It has the plug in for my phone and a removable plugin for my moms phone.

My favorite part about the cord... Its PURPLE! It also lives up to its name "lightning cable" I really love it for my android phone. It charges in a decently short period of time. New York Biology Tea Tree Oil

Lately, I have been seeing more about essential oils and oil diffusers. I am also learning more and more every day about the different oils and what they are used for. I already have a couple essential oils, lemon and peppermint. 

Recently I got the opportunity to try out New York Biology's Tea Tree Oil. I  honestly did not know anything about this type of oil or what it is used for. So I did a little research on the essential oil. I found this great website and a list of twenty five uses for this oil! I will share a few of them here!

1. Sore throats
If you add tea tree oil to salt water not only will it help with a sore throat but it will also clear up your mucus membranes and reduce sinus pressure!

2.Head Cold
If you have a head cold all you have to do is add the oil to boiled water and cover your head with a towel. This way you can breath all the tea tree oil infused steam in!

3. Homemade Hand Sanitizer
Just take Tea Tree Oil, Lavender Oil, Witch Hazel (optional) and Aloe Vera Gel. Voila you have homemade hand sanitizer! Recipe is available here. 


I also read somewhere that you can make a make-up remover solution with tea tree oil. I honestly do not remember where though! Woops!
 
 I am still learning about essential oils and honestly only used my oils to make a lemon salt scrub for the shower. I completely forgot that this stuff is extremely concentrated! I plan on making that make-up remover and a bunch of other things listed on the website I found. I just have to gather up a few more ingredients to make the product first!

As for the quality of the oil. I couldn't be happier with the product. It smells so good and I cant wait to actually put the product into use! I will make sure to update everyone once I am able to make my homemade products!

Skinny Jane One Week Challenge.

                                          
                                      



Ever since I was in high school. My weight could be described as a roller coaster. When I thought I finally was losing it, I would gain it all back and more! It was beyond frustrating and lead to many bouts of depression.

After graduating from high school, I got SUPER skinny. I could not be happier. I moved in with my boyfriend at the time while I went to college. The family I lived with had HUGE appetites and my boyfriend at the time worked at Little Caesars. Thanks to overeating and amazing discounts on crazy bread, I gained back tons of weight!

It was extremely hard to lose, and a lot happened in a hand full of years!  Fast forward to now,
I am a mom of two kiddos. My son will turn 4 in September and my daughter turned 2 in May. As many people know, a woman's body goes through many changes during a pregnancy. Not only do moms gain the weight, but there are hormonal changes too. I have seen so many moms wanting to lose what they called post pregnancy "baby fat".

With my son I did not have any extra "baby fat", but after my daughter I started the weight roller coaster again! (Minus the severe depression)

I like planning things and having them ready and at hand, especially since I have such a busy life. I made my own butterfly looking baggies and measured portions for the Skinny Blend powder and placed them in Tupperware.

I took a paperclip and separated the baggies so I knew what was what. The skinny burn and the skinny cleanse pill color are practically the same I did not want to confuse them. This way i knew once I did my daily routine the remaining pills were for the evening.
                            

I will be out right honest with you. I like food and I work the evening shift, coming home after midnight. I could not follow the food portion of the 7 day plan. I made my own daily schedule. I also got of to a rocky start, oops!
I worked the night I started and I came home and fell asleep as soon as i hit the pillow, forgetting to take the Skinny Cleanse. The second night, someone accidentally threw away my Skinny Cleanse! Whomp Whomp Whomp...

I also cheated in a way too, the only milk we have in the house is whole milk.  I used that and added my own ingredient to my daily shake, berry flavored whole leaf aloe drink.I have no gall bladder, so I use this product to help my digestive tract. It was actually quite delicious, it tasted like chocolate fruity pebbles.

My daily routine consisted of waking up (I am not a morning person and neither are my kids really), take my multivitamin, skinny, burn, and drink shake. I would have my tea with my lunch and took the skinny burn before I went to sleep.

I am actually kind of sad my supplies are used up! I really like this product and I had amazing results in the 7 days I took them!
