Kitchen Table Passport

Wow! It has been an insane past few weeks. I got sick, had final exams, then got sick again. I am actually STILL sick right now, I only feel good enough to function semi-normal! I am so so so behind with my blog it is not funny either! I should have written this review long ago! Anyways without further adieu!

I love trying new foods so when I found out about Kitchen Table Passport, I knew I had to try it. This is a neat monthly box with the concept of exploring the world through your taste buds.

Each box comes with discovery cards, a taste package (spices and recipe), and mementos.

I was actually extremely excited to find out I got Korea as my country. In my box I got lots of cards talking about their food, lifestyle, and much more! I even learned how to say different words in Korean on each card!

My mementos were a crispy seaweed treat (which my 2 year old daughter devoured, go figures!) and neat metal chopsticks!

The recipe I received was Dakbokkeumtang which is a spicy braised chicken. To be honest with me being sick, I have not had the time to get the ingredients for this recipe. It looks delicious though and as soon as I am 100% back to myself I will be doing so.

What I really liked about the recipe, was the fact it included the spices. Especially with a foreign recipe, it requires you to go to a specialty store. This sometimes makes it impossible or extremely pricey to make what your cooking.

I also like how they sent me a fairly easy to follow recipe. I have cooked ethic food before and the dishes I chose were super involved and took forever to cook. The simplicity of this dish is really nice!

The cool thing about this company is it has many options. You can choose one country and try it out, or make it a reoccurring monthly thing. Their full box with everything I received is $29.95/month.

You can also give this as a gift! With give a gift you can choose a country for $29.95, gift 3 months for 74.95 (which you save about $20 this way v.s buying 3 separate months), gift 6 months for 119.75 (which you save about $60 doing it this way v.s buying 6 separate months).

Finally if you just want to cook and could go without all the extras. There is also an option for you! There is a taste only monthly option for $9.95!

Like the idea of these amazing options offered? Head on over here to check them out!

Gold Medal Wine Club

My life is hectic. I am a mother of two, I work, and I am a college student. When I get home from work, one of three things happen. I fall asleep, put the kids asleep, or do homework. I rarely have time for myself! Now, I find myself shopping only when absolutely necessary. When it comes to a day when I have friends over, I have to go out and buy a glass of wine for the event. Now that I found this amazing company called Gold Medal Wine Club.

This company has not one, not two, but six different types of wine clubs within their site!

Gold Wine Club
Platinum Wine Club
Garagiste Wine Club
Pinot Noir Wine Club
Diamond Wine Club
International Wine Club

Each club's price and of course contents varies. I personally received their Gold Wine club. This specific club you can get 2 or 4 bottles of wine sent to your home. You can get this sent to your home for as low as $37. In my shipment i received 1 red and one white wine.

They put a lot of thought into my delivery.

Not only did they send a nice note to me, they also send me so great information about wine and their club.

The wine even came tied up in these neat satchels!

The wines I was sent in my box, I actually really liked! They were a hit at a couples dinner night at my house!
I am not extremely familiar with different wines other than white or red. As silly as it sounds I normally drink mixed drinks, like a margarita. I like sweet things, thanks to my sweet tooth. I have been trying to broaden my taste preferences.

I know I love Sangria and I am not fan of Zinfandel or Chardonnay.  Every different type of wine I try, I learn more about my personal preference!

This is why I love the wine club. Not only do I have wine sent to my doorstep, but I can figure out what types of wines I like. It takes away that hesitance when I shop for wine.  Will I like it or will I hate it?  It is always a surprise at your doorstep!

If you love wine and love the convenience of having it shipped to your home check out this company and their many clubs here.

Craft Beer Club

I am honesty not the biggest beer person... not because I completely and udderly dislike beer... but because I have not found a beer I actually like.
I have not been very adventurous when it comes to tasting new things.

This is why I decided to try a company called Craft Beer Club. This beer club is all about sending a variety of different craft beers to your front door.
For $39.00 you get 12 craft beers sent to your front door! The best part about it? Shipping is always free!!!

How often you get beer is all up to you! You can choose monthly, every-other-month, or quarterly! This company is great for the avid beer drinker as well as the occasional drinker!

I received four different flavors of craft beer. I received three of each of the four flavors, making a whopping twelve bottles of beer sent to my front door! I was not the only one drinking the beer either.

I honestly did not like the taste of most of them personally. I sort of liked Stacy's Mom beer. This is a beer with the fruit flavors in it. Since I do not drink all the time, I gave my neighbors some of the beer to try. I did this so I can get more than just my opinion on it. I figured it would be cool to get 3 peoples opinion on the beer!

I have not been able to speak with the third person about the beer, but I was able to talk to one person. He did not try the darker beers, but he enjoyed the lighter ones. He is not a sweet beer person so he personally thought the one I sort of liked was too sweet! Go figures!

I wont leave you in suspense any longer though. I will now talk about the beer flavors I received

Stacy's Mom is made by a company called evil genius. This company began brewing in 2008. This specific beer is made with IPA-dry hopped beer made with citra hops. The flavor is described as explosive aroma of  tropical fruits, lemon peel, peach and mango, complimented by a clean and slightly toasty malt base. I guess this is why I liked this one. It has a bunch of fruity flavors in it! This beer is available year round.

This one has quite a unique name! Purple Monkey Dishwasher! It is also brewed by Evil Genius. The craziest part is the flavor of the beer! It is Chocolate Peanut Butter! The company describes this beer as the following: "We start with a world-class American-style porter recipe, which is already laden with notes of chocolate, sweet malts, caramel, and molasses, and then take it to the NEXT LEVEL by infusing it with natural chocolate and peanut butter! The final product is like a candy bar in a bottle that is deceptively quaffable despite it's strength. Just take one sip and you'll understand why this is our signature, year round porter." I honestly was not a fan of this beer. I do have to remind you, I am NOT a beer expert and my dislikes does NOT saying anything about the quality of the beer itself! I am still trying to find what I enjoy in a beer.

Spider Bite Beer Co. makes these next beers and boy does this one pack a punch! This one has 10% alcohol! WOW! When I tasted this, I honestly could not place my finger on the taste. Until I had a friend taste it and she shouted COFFEE! It WAS coffee I tasted! I just could not put my finger on it because I never would have imagined beer tasting like coffee! I honestly was not sure what I thought about this beer. I am still unsure if I like it or hate it.
The final beer is also made by Spider Bite and Co. This is another one I personally did not enjoy. I think it may have been the dry finish to the beer. My neighbor on the other hand enjoyed this beer! Wondering why it is named First Bite? It was the first beer this company ever brewed!

Scent Trunk

My name is Courtney and I have an addiction to perfume. I used to work at a store that had amazing prices and with my amazing employee discount, I was dangerous!

Can you tell I have a little perfume addiction? Do you like perfume as much as me? You will love the company I am about to talk about!

Scent Trunk is a company all about perfume. You first get a Fit Kit. In this fit kit is a box of miniature rollers and different types of scents. The types of scents are floral, citrus, amber, woody, chypre and aromatic. Pardon my messy ugly paper, I changed my mind on one but had written in permanent marker!

What you are supposed to do is smell each one and see which type of scent you like. The best way to do this is prepare to smell like Bath and Body Works. Choose a spot on your arm roll on the scent try it and repeat. Everyone's P.H. level is different and perfume smells different depending on who is wearing it. Once you figure out which scent you love, like, and hate. There is a card with each scent and their name along with areas to mark off your thoughts on the scent. After you do this, you can email or text in your results.

After you send that in, someone uses your results to send you a personalized perfume. I honestly was not a huge fan of the tester scents I was given. I kind of winged it and chose the ones I sort of liked.

Along with the perfume, I got a card with some information about the scent. After I tried the scent out, I was extremely surprised at the end result.

On me this scent it smells more like citrus with a hint of some woodsy elements. On my friend she says it smells like fruity pebbles.

Get a personalized scent every month for $11.99!

Panty by Post

Isn't it funny that as kids one of the dreaded gifts was socks or underwear? Now as a mom, I am overly happy when I am able to purchase a new pair of undies! The only downside is, I honestly rarely have enough time to shop for myself anymore. I am a mom of two (ages 2 and 4) with one on the way, a full time student, I work part-time, and I run this blog!

Lately, I have enjoyed the convenience of shopping online. I have been addicted to subscription boxes! I have seen kids craft subscription boxes, treat subscription boxes, even alcohol subscription boxes! This box is by far one of the best I have seen so far! Underwear subscription box! Get cute underwear sent straight to your door! Forget the awkwardness of shopping at the mall, forget Victoria's Secret! This is by far the neatest idea ever!

Panty by Post is a company that sends you cute underwear. You can choose from briefs (and no not grandma underwear), thong or surprise me!

They have quite a few options when it comes to subscriptions. So I will go over that briefly before I move onto their product.

Everyday Basics starts at $15/month
Signature Line starts at $22/month
Naughty but Nice starts at $24.99/month
Premium Luxe starts at $35/month
Bra & Panty Matching Sets starts at $49.99/month

You can buy for yourself or purchase a gift for a special someone!

I received this super cute green pair of underwear in the mail. I absolutely love them! They have just enough lace and looked like it had just enough coverage!

I thought the bows in the back were super cute also!

I unfortunately underestimated the size of my hindquarters... I honestly needed to order an x-large instead of a large. I could tell they wouldn't fit as soon as I held them up. My loss my friends gain though, she was just as in love with the cute underwear as I was. If you run into the same situation as me and the underwear does not fit, don't fret. You can email the company and get a free size exchange!

I know what I will be putting on my Christmas wish list though!

You can even try Everyday Basics, Signature Line, and Premium Luxe for $9.99. Prices go to the original prices mentioned above after one month. If you love it then keep the subscription, if it is not your cup-o-tea then you can cancel anytime!

WINC Wine Club

I am a mommy of two, I am a full-time college student, I work part-time, and for fun I write on my blog! A slightly crazy schedule, right? How do I stay sane with out this chaos? One word... WINE (the kind you drink, not the noise that comes from my kids haha!)

Wine is great! It comes in red and white and so many different brands and flavors. The only downside to wine is when you run out of it. Just when you want more, you have to go to the store to get more. I have such a busy schedule and if I forget something at the store, I am not going back. Especially when it comes to wine, I like it, but I like my sleep more!

I recently discovered a company called a site called Winc. Winc delivers wine straight to your doorstep. Make sure someone 21 or older is available, because a signature is required upon delivery.

There are a few steps you have to do before you get to buying the wine. First, you make an account on Winc. Then, you create your palate profile by answering 6 questions. Once you do this there is a list of wine recommendations. Winc's wines start at $13 and if you buy four or more bottles, shipping is on the house! Once you are able to try some of their wines you are given the opportunity to rate these wines. The more you rate the wines the more recommendations will show up. After you rate ten bottles of wine, you get $10.

Being that said, I would love to tell you about my experience with this company. I love may love wine but I usually stuck with my few favorites. I have not been very adventurous when it came to trying different wines. I decided to go with this company to broaden my wine preference.

Setting up my account and profile was super easy. The questions were a fun way to get to know my taste in wines.
My first box I chose two red wines and two white wines.

When I got them in the mail it was super exciting. The first thing I noticed was the wine was well protected in the box. Another surprise was the neat recipes that were included in the order!

The Two red wines I chose were the 2015 Alchymist Noir Red Blend and 2015 The Independent Zinfadel.

The two whites I chose were
2014 Wonderful Wine Co. White Blend and 2015 Vinyasa Chenin Blanc.

So far I have finished two (Alchymist and Wonderful Wine)  and I am in the middle of drinking my third bottle ( Vinyasa Chenin Blanc). Yes, I am a slow, I am the only wine drinker in the house. I absolutely loved the Wonderful and I am enjoying the Chenin Blanc. I felt that the Alchymist's flavor was a little too much for me. It was a delicious wine, it was just not my cup o' tea.

Once I am done with my last bottle and a half, I will be ordering more!

You can start your own Winc wine experience here and receive $25 off your first order!

Other than the credit to my Winc account , I did not receive any compensation for this review.
