Ozeri Green Earth WOK

I am a complete zombie mom lately.

Today marked the second week of the semester. I am also currently working part-time at Ross and I usually work closing shift. Our closing hours are Monday through Thursday 11 pm, Friday and Saturday 11:30 pm and Sunday 10:30 pm. Sometimes I get home close to 1 am. I pretty much get to take a nap before I get up to help my hubby get the kids ready to go to the nanny's house and myself ready to drive to school!

I  had all these ideas for meals for the past week or so, but my schedule has not gone as planned.  Lately when it comes to chores, it is like I take two steps forward and end up 10 steps back. I honestly feel like I am going crazy!

On a positive note, I recently was finally able to de-clutter and organize the nursery and bathroom. Tonight I was able to catch up a little in the kitchen. So as a reward to myself  for at least getting some things done, I am relaxing and writing this review!

A while ago, I did a review on Ozeri's Green Earth Pan. I still love this pan and constantly use it. I honestly like it more than my Rachael Ray pans. Recently, I was given the opportunity to review another Ozeri Green Earth product. This time, I got their Wok.

I was happy I was able to review a wok this time, because of my husband. My husband had mentioned a month or so ago, that he would love to have a wok. That he knows how to make a "mean stir fry"

Ever since I knew I was getting the green earth wok in the mail, I had this grand idea to do this delicious stir fry. I was even at the store, twice and COMPLETELY forgot to buy ONE thing for the stir fry! My brain is fried... I swear I would probably forget my head if it was not attached.

I really love the look of this pan. I honestly thought I would love my red Rachael Ray pots and pans more, but I absolutely love this funky lime green color!

As usual, Ozeri is thoughtful of keeping their products protected. I love, love, love the fact they add the little pan protector felt thing-y.

The best part of all it has the same coating as my favorite Ozeri frying pan! All I have to do now is remember to buy ingredients to make my yummy stir fry! I go to class from 7 am to 6pm tomorrow, have evening classes Wednesday, Thursday, and go to both school and work on Friday. I am hoping to do some shopping on either Wednesday or Thursday and post action pictures after I cook.

Cave Tools Cooking Thermometer

AHHH!!! It has been so crazy in this household lately! August 17th I  start back in college to get my degree. I work part-time at Ross dress for less. My princess and little man have been sick for the past couple weeks and I am way behind in keeping up with the apartment. I am currently taking a break from all the chaos to write this!

Anyways...

I must apologize for two things. First, at the moment I do not have any action shots of the thermometer. I work part-time evenings and it was by chance that I was at work when my husband tried it out. Second, I am sorry for the short review. Some products speak for themselves and this product is one of them.

My husband loves to cook and grill. For the longest time, we used a cheap dollar store meat thermometer. When I was given the opportunity from Cave Tools to try their meat thermometer, I jumped on it. My husband was quite pleased to hear about my new test product.

I personally love the design of the thermometer. It is not gigantic, yet the writing on it is big enough for me to read... without my glasses on.

I like how the thermometer has a Fahrenheit and Celsius option.

I work retail and I have noticed a lot of people traveling out of country like to do their shopping here in the US. One person told me they shop here because in their country the prices for everything is at least double, if not triple the prices here. I personally will be using the Fahrenheit option, but the that option is great for those who grew up learning temperatures in Celsius.

I know I do not have any pictures of the thermometer in action. I have a meal in mind right now and I plan on posting pictures very soon! So keep an eye out! Once I get the pictures, I will be posting them here.

Ozeri Savore Soft touch electric pepper mill and grinder

I like having fresh ground pepper on my food. I absolutely love those cool salt grinders. I enjoy changing up how fine or coarsely it is ground with each dish. The one downside to the already filled grinders from the grocery store, is the fact they are one use only. Once they are empty, you cannot really refill them and use the grinder again.

I recently was given the opportunity to try out Ozeri's savore. I apologize ahead of time, I currently do not have any photos of it in use. My daughter has been sick and I have not had much time to do anything. I will be updating this review later with some action shots.

My first reaction to the product, was how compact it is. My second reaction was WOW! it takes six AAA batteries?! Then I took a moment to think, I guess its good for the design of the product. It would be so much bigger if it took AA batteries.

I like fresh ground pepper on my food, but I am more of a salt person. The nice thing about this product is, you can put salt, pepper, or other spices in it to grind!

So far I have been using it for salt and I absolutely love it! Another thing I like, is how easy it is to replace the batteries. When you open the container, like you would to add pepper corns or whatever. There are a couple white tabs on the  underside of the end with the button.
All you have to do is pinch those tabs and the battery area slides right out.

Lets say you changed your mind on what you are grinding. The area where the salt, pepper, or spices goes is really easy to clean. I use a tiny squirt of soap and a bottle brush, a quick rinse. Easy, Peasy!

I absolutely love this pepper mill/grinder and plan on buying a second one in the future.
