BoCandy

December is not only a month of family and Holidays but it is also a month of sweets treats and delicious foods! I personally have the biggest sweet tooth ever! This is why BoCandy was the perfect choice for my Christmas Guide!

For those who do not know about BoCandy. BoCandy is a company that sends treats to your doorstep monthly. BoCandy has multiple different types of boxes they send. They have their International Candy Taste Box, BoCandy Big Snack Box, Asian Candy Box, BoCandy Premium Box, and the BoJerky Beef Jerky Box.

I received BoCandy's International Candy Taste Box, starter box. The only thing that was a little disappointing was Florida's heat. My mail carrier delivered my box to my mailbox and the chocolate got all melty. This did not ruin my snack experience though, all I had to do was stick them in the refrigerator!

In my box I got six different treats from all over the world. I shared these treats with my kids and my friend. Of course my kiddos thought they were all delicious!

The Ola Pola candy bar is super yummy Polish candy. It is a chocolate and wafer layered candy. The chocolate was rich enough but not too much either. It got a two thumbs up from everyone!

Lucas Muecas is an interesting candy. Think of the concept of a baby bottle pop. A sweet sugary lollypop which you dip in sugar, but only different. This candy has a delicious mango lollypop, but what is unique about it is the chili. It comes with what looks like a sugary coating on the outside of the lollypop but it is a tongue tingling chili powder. It also has more of it to dip in it as you suck on the lollypop. I personally had to wash the outer coating off, but once I did it was sort of tasty even when dipping it into the chili. I did not share this treat with my kids and friend though.

I tried to look online about this candy but unfortunately I did not find much out much. This candy is quite different. It reminds me of sticks of gum. The only thing is, it is not gum! As you chew it, it starts to disappear! This candy also got a two thumbs up from everyone!

This Swedish peppermint candy stick was honestly not something I expected. I thought it would be a large tooth breaking candy cane. This candy has a soft chew-able peppermint outside and a small hard candy cane in the inside. Quite, refreshing, and got a two thumbs up from all of us!

Curly Wurly is a candy that is manufactured in the UK. It is a caramel candy with a chocolate coating on the outside. The candy gets its name from its curly wurly appearance. The candy is sweet and the caramel is soft enough so it does not stick in your teeth. Another two thumbs up from us!

I am not 100% sure but I think this candy is Norwegian. It is kind of sort of like the aero bar with the air bubbles inside. The candy bar also looks like big bubbles. I did not share this candy bar because it was SO delicious! It was actually kind of disappointing when it was gone! Two thumbs up from me!

I really think that 5 out of 6 candies being a hit really awesome! The best part about this box is the fact it only costs $9.99 a month.

If you or someone you know has a sweet tooth like me this would definitely be a great gift! You can subscribe for yourself here monthly. You can also prepay for three, six, and twelve months as a gift!

PowerSpa 8" Rainfall Showerhead with 12" Adjustable Extension Arm, Chrome

We moved into our home in December. The house was owned by a little old lady whose husband had passed away. Not only was the house neglected but her husband was a self proclaimed "handyman". We moved in to an assortment of wires all over the house. Apparently he had speakers everywhere (at least that is what it seemed like). The worst was the garage, where he had multiple T.V.'s.

Slowly we have been doing improvements to the home. We have been maintaining the yard, cleaning up the home, painting, and updating things. The two rooms I have been focusing on have been our bathrooms. We installed our cabinet over the toilet for extra space in the main bathroom. I installed a three tier pressure rod shelf system and a new shower head in our master bathroom.

After installing the one in my bathroom the main bathrooms shower head looked awful. It's one of those small shower heads that you can remove and use as a handheld one. It is old and yellowed and just looks yuck! As soon as I was given the opportunity to I chose to get rid of the old and put something new.

I was given the opportunity to try the Power Spa 8' Rainfall Shower Head. I have something similar in my bathroom and I absolutely love the style. I know it kind of sounds silly but, I did not want to have the same exact thing in my main bathroom. So, that is why I chose to use this one instead!

The whole process of installing the shower head was frustrating. Not because of the new one, but because of the old one. It took me FOREVER to get the darn thing off! Once I was able to finally get it off, getting the new one on was a breeze!

After I finally got the old one off. I had to assemble the new one. The new one came in a few parts. The long arm, the shower head, a ball and joint type thing so you can tilt and move the shower head slightly, and the "tape" to help make the seal water tight.

Once those two main pieces were attached all I had to do was tighten it on to the shower fixture. It honestly took me a moment because my husband was not around and I lacked a specific tool and some "man power", but I got it done. I could not be happier with this shower head. The waterfall feature feels so nice. I almost wish it was in my shower instead!

Pictures do not do this shower head justice either.

You can find this great shower head here.

Coloring Books for Stress!

I love to color. I am not the greatest artist at all... especially when it comes to colors. I still enjoy attempting to be artistic though! Recently, I was introduced to stress coloring. I always doodled when I was stressed. I bite my nails so I have been trying to figure something to replace that nasty habit.

I was given the opportunity to try out these coloring books. I was kind of skeptical at first but gosh they do work! Less nail biting for me, hopefully!

Once I ordered them and tried them out I realized they all are super fun. The only thing is that I wish that there was some variety to the patterns. Also some of the pages seemed like there was a lot of empty space. Being that said, the books themselves did what I wanted them to do. I was able to color and relax and avoid biting my nails.

So far my favorite of them all is the Mandalas. I have not really colored much in the other ones yet.

I am sorry for such a quick review. Life has been so chaotic with midterms right around the corner. I guess I need to take a moment and color some!

You can find these great coloring books here.
