MY Konjac Sponge - All Natural Original Pure Facial Konjac Sponge

This review is going to be short but sweet! I could say more but I feel I would just repeating myself !

Ok... I admit I am totally addicted to these Konjac Sponges!!!

This is the first original sponge I have tried out, the other two sponges I have are the charcoal infused ones.

I am a mommy of two ages 2 years old and 4 months. I am also a stay at home mom. A lot of the times I do not even have the time to use the bathroom by myself... let alone have a nice long shower!





It might not look like much all dried up but once you add water to the sponge it plumps up and is oh so soft on your face! I really enjoy the fact I do not absolutely have to use a facial wash with this type of sponge. I can just wet it wipe my face down blot dry and go! It is also nice when I do have the time to have a relaxing shower, this sponge also works really well with my facial wash!

I really liked this bit of information I found on the amazon post "This sponge is made from 100% pure Konjac plant root, which naturally alkaline to balance the acidity of the skin's impurities and oils." I have sensitive skin so I do not have to worry about any reactions with this sponge! I can not say enough how much I love this sponge!!!

Adovia Sulfur Soap for Acne, Blackheads and Oily Skin with Dead Sea Salt - 100% Natural

Both my hubbie (Steve) and I are very picky when it comes to what personal care products we use. We are both picky about what type of bar soap we use. He only uses bar soap on his face and when I do use a bar of soap I will use it for my whole body. The one thing we agree on was we only used Dove soap... until now!

First I have to say Adovia is an awesome company! I messaged them about the tracking on my package not updating and I was curious where it was. They immediately looked into it and found out for some reason the package was not moving. As soon as they figured that out ,they immediately sent out another bar of their soap. 

When I went to get the mail I was surprised that I got THREE packages from Adovia. Apparently the original bar of soap they sent FINALLY got to me along with the bar they sent out after I emailed them. The third package was Adovia Exfoliating Facial Salts, what a surprise!

Since I got two of the bars of soap, I kept one to use and gave one to my hubbie to use.
We both decided to only use the product on our face.

I first did a test spot on the inside of my elbow. I am allergic to sulfa antibiotics and I didn't want to risk having an allergic reaction, especially if  I decided to use it all over my face! After having no reaction on the test spot, I then started using the product on my face. Usually bar soaps make me feel rubbery but this one did not! I was really pleased with how clean it made my face feel!

It was hard to get much out of my hubbie. His typical response to me asking what he thought of something is "Its okay". This time, I know he likes the product because he is currently still using it. If he disliked it, he would have stopped using it LONG ago.

I really liked the Exfoliating Facial Salts. Not only did it make my face feel super clean while used along with the Adovia facial soap, but I also used it to exfoliate the rest of my body. I first tried it out on my body  by exfoliating my arms. I actually found out I had a cut that way... OUCH! The next time I used it, I first made sure I did not have any cuts (haha) and mixed it with my body wash to use. I feel like it really helped  thoroughly exfoliate and remove any dead skin , my skin felt so silky smooth after i used the product.

Adovia is a really great company to work with and I really enjoyed trying out these products! I hope to try more products by Adovia in the future!

Deep Cleansing Facial Oil & Organic Rosehip Oil

So, I am really beginning to enjoy pampering myself! I never really go out and shop for myself unless I have a gift card, can use coupons, or its on sale/clearance. I just recently bought a facial scrub, but held off using it so I could use this first!

Just by reading the label I already knew I would love using this product! It has ingredients like Jojoba Oil , Olive Oil and Pink Grapefruit Essential Oil. I also liked how easy it is to use!  The directions are: Apply InstaNatural's Dee Cleansing Facial Oil to a washcloth, pad or cotton ball. Wipe gently onto face to remove makeup and impurities. Rinse off with warm water and pat dry with a clean cloth. I am a mom of two.. my son is 2 and my daughter is almost 4 months. It is very helpful to have products that are easy to use like this one!

When I used the product for the first time I used one of my little ones baby wash cloth. A little bit of this product goes a long way! I wiped down my face with the oil, which was sort of odd at first. I am so used to having a product that either lathers or has a gritty exfoliating texture. Next, I followed the directions and rinsed with warm water. After I was done washing my face, my face felt so clean!  It did not leave my face feel too dry or too oily!

The second time I washed my face with this product I decided to use a cotton ball. I THOUGHT my face was not that dirty. Obviously I was wrong! Below is a picture showing how filthy my face was! YUCK!!!

I have not used this product as a make up remover yet. I have not had time to even put make up on!
I am hoping to  have a date night with my hubbie soon. Then I will get all beautified and after the date I will be able to use it as a make up remover. One of my blogger friends told me it was a REALLY good make up remover, so I am eager to see how it works with removing my make up.

I really liked the fact it helps with scars and stretch marks. I have MANY stretch marks from my two pregnancies. After using this product for a while I noticed that the part of the stretch marks from my first pregnancy, which had more time to heal, started to fade even more. I just had my daughter 4 months ago and my stretch marks expanded with that pregnancy. I noticed the areas that were red and angry looking had started to heal and settle down slowly turning into the silvery color and less noticeable. I really love this product you only have to use a little bit and you cant beat the giant 4 oz bottle you get! This stuff will last me forever!

100% Natural Konjac Facial Sponge with Activated Bamboo Charcoal by PureSol

Short review time!! (not that this product needs a long review anyways... its an awesome product!)

Well here is my second blog about a Konjac facial sponge...I just love these things!
I love the fact they are all natural and biodegradable!!!!

I love that using this type of sponge is super easy! You can use it with out facial wash and if you do use your facial wash... you only have to use a tiny bit!

I am a mom of two my oldest is 2 and  my youngest will be 4 months at the end of this month. A lot of the times I have to jump in and take a super fast shower. I like how it is so easy to just get this wet, scrub my face, squeeze out the water, and hang it up on the suction hook it came with.

I dont have to worry about fumbling with face wash and possibly getting soap in my eyes (baby crying in background being in a "I want mommy" mood, yes I have gotten soap in my eyes and its NOT FUN)
Even though I am not using a facial wash or soap to wash my face, i feel super clean every time i use this! I LOVE IT!

All in all, I really like its size, the fact its nature friendly (biodegradable) and how it just so simple to use. I would definitely recommend this product!

Keomi Skincare - Organic All Natural Handmade Soap Review.

As I have said in my previous blog, i dont usually get anything special for my daily routines. I am also normally NOT a fan of bar soaps unless its Dove.


I was ecstatic when i was approved for this all natural handmade soap! I kept my eye out for the mailman to come each day! After I happily grabbed the package out of my mailbox, I ran back to my apartment and ripped open the packaging. I then immediately when to take a shower and try this out!I got the Lavender soap and it smelled SOOO good! The bar of soap has a really great lather; so the little sliver of a sample I got is going to last me a pretty long time! I did my shower routine and washed with the bar of soap. I gotta say I smelled awesome (my fiance' even commented i smelled good). As I said I am not a big fan of bar soaps other than Dove, its just the way my sensory system is any other soaps make me feel .. rubbery for some reason. Maybe its lack of a water softener (i grew up with one as a kid) im not sure... I REALLY liked the smell of this soap and would definitely buy and try again once I am able to have a water softener.

Oleavine 100% Plant Based Konjac Sponge infused with Activated Charcoal.

Let me give you a little background on my shower routine first. I usually just use whatever shampoo or conditioner I can get my hands on for free or super cheap. I love love love to coupon! So buying luxury stuff to maintain beauty i never really get! I got this Sponge through Tomoson a website you get free products in exchange for an honest review on amazon, a tweet on twitter, post to your blog, post to facebook, a post to instagram and some more things if you have the account!

At first when i got the product it did not look like much.. looked like a blackish gray sponge... whats so special about this?? I thought... First i read the packaging ... which says you can use a non foaming facial wash with the sponge. So i decided to do half my face with my Clinique 7 day scrub cream and half with out.

Oh my goodness! Once you get the sponge wet it plumps up and is ready to use. I applied my Clinique scrub cream to half my face then scrubbed with the sponge. I then rinsed my face so none of the cream wash got on the other side and then proceeded to wash my face with the sponge again. I cant believe how CLEAN my face felt! I prefer to use it along with my cream wash but the side i used with out the was felt extremely clean as well!

I have now added this sponge to my shower routine. I would definitely recommend buying this product! Its amazing!
