Like I said in my previous post about Jiva Organics Coriander Seeds , lately I have not had a lot of time on my hands. I honestly do not use whole cloves very often when I cook either. They are such a strong spice and the only time i tried using it, I overdid it.
As soon as I got this in the mail, I could tell it was a good quality product. You can literally smell the cloves through the bag! Once I opened the bag, whew! Boy are they strong! I was extremely surprised at how many whole cloves equaled to 3.5oz, there is a ton in this bag! It is definitely going to last me a LONG time!
I already have a few ideas for what I will use these for. I am thinking of trying that soup recipe that I completely failed at last time I tried the recipe. Since I will have company over for the next week, I might even try a new stew recipe. Something easy I can throw together in the crock pot and let all the yummy flavors slowly cook together all day. Yum! Such a good idea, I am hungry already!
