Ozeri Turtlemeter

                     
I have two kids, Samantha (1 year old) and Wyatt (3 years in September). My little ones LOVE to take a bath. Samantha refuses to take a bath in any type of bath seat and loves to play in the bathtub with her brother.

When filling the bath tub, I usually did a water temperature test by sticking my hand in the tub. Each time I filled up the tub, I always worried if it was too warm.

 

 

Recently, I was given the opportunity to review this awesome Turtlemeter. It is a turtle toy that has a built in thermometer!
                   


The first thing I loved about the product? The super easy to open packaging! I didn't have to use scissors or hassle with the packaging to get to the product.

 

 

 

My kids love this turtle! They play with it in the tub and it shows the temperature of the water at the same time. All I do is put the turtle in the tub before I start filling it up and voila! The turtle lights up blue if the water is cold, green if the water is just right, and red if its too hot.   
 
                                                          


 Not only do my kids love this turtle but I can FINALLY be a worry free momma during bath time!

Ozeri OW05A Prestige Electric Wine Bottle Opener with Aerating Pourer and Foil Cutter

 

It has been a while since I have written a review. A lot has happened since my last review. I am preparing for my wedding on May 16th, my daughter turns one may 30th, we are trying to buy a house, I am back in college and I now work at Ross. YIKES! So much going on right now!

I honestly wasn't going to be doing anymore reviews for a while. I was actually not sure if I was going to start again! Recently, I got contacted by my favorite company Ozeri. I could not pass up the opportunity to try another one of their amazing products! I actually go to class in about an hour, so I apologize for the short review.

Since I will be getting married May 16, I figured their OW05A Prestige Electric Wine Bottle Opener with Aerating Pourer and Foil Cutter would be an appropriate item to review.

 I was quite surprised when I got it in the mail. I have been so busy, I honestly did not have the time to fully read the specs on the product. The wine opener is wireless comes with a charging base, and foil cutter and aerating pourer. I would have a photo of this but my  two year old son seems to have hidden the pourer on me!

According to the information pamphlet that comes with the product, one charge can open up to 80 bottles of wine! WOW! One charge will last me quite a long time!

It took me a moment to figure out how to use the opener. Once I figured it out, I immediately fell in love with the product! It is SO easy to use! The foil cutter removes the foil with easy and with a push of a button you're ready to pour yourself a glass of your favorite bottle of wine!

Unfortunately, the bottle of wine I grabbed was not my "cup o' tea". That is okay though, it gives me an excuse to buy another bottle of wine to open!

Glow 2 Go Half Body Towelettes

I have a very pale complexion and I do not do a lot of outdoor activities. When I try to naturally tan, I either end up looking like I never got a tan at all ... or I burn. At one point in my life I just accepted the fact I will remain super pale. I also am very self conscious about my body. I never really felt comfortable with the idea of going to a spray tanning booth. I was really excited at to hear about these half body towelettes by Glow 2 Go. I loved the idea of being able to use these self tanning towelettes at the comfort of my own home.

When I opened the container, first thing to mind was the easy access opening was a very smart idea!

Each towelette is in its own packaging, hence the "2 go" part of Glow 2 Go! I was really surprised that the towelette just looked like any ordinary wipe. I have 2 kids in diapers, so I use wipes a LOT! I got a lot of curves, so it took three towelettes instead of two to cover my whole body.

 

 I wore my underwear and bra while applying the towelettes. That way once I was done drying, I could get dressed and go! As I anticipated, it did go on darker on my hands where I was holding the towelette. What really surprised me was the fact it did not stain my clothes where the wipe accidentally touched.

 

After I did my first application, I waited till the next day to do another coat. You only have to wait 4 hours, but I was quite busy so I waited overnight instead.

I am very pleased with the results of the two applications. I went from pale to beautifully tanned... with out having to stay outside in the sun only to get burned! I will definitely be using this product to look tan for my wedding in May.

Ozeri Ultra 42” Oscillating Tower Fan

My fiancé, two kids, and I live in a small 900 sq. ft. 2 bedroom apartment. With tons of toys and hobby things for us parents (I am crafty and he likes to tinker with cars) we just don't have a lot of space! We have to have a fan in the small hallway, because our air handler just doesn't get enough air to the nursery.

We used to have a box fan in the hallway, but it took up way too much space and it was really loud! My son would also constantly turn of and on the box fan. At one point he decided to throw one of my fiancé's wrenches in the fan! Luckily, the fan didn't break and the wrench only made a bunch of noise. That loud noise scared the bajeezies out of my son, poor guy!

I was extremely happy to be given the opportunity to try Ozeri's Ultra 42" Oscillating Tower Fan. The fan came in 4 parts; two half circles that make the base, the small rod that goes between the fan and the base, and the base itself. The fan remote and the hardware for the fan come in small baggies. I really like the fact that Ozeri includes batteries for the remote!

It was really easy to assemble this fan! 1st, you just snap the two base pieces together to make a circle and secure it with four small screws, using a screwdriver. Next, you secure the small rod to the base with twist on bolt "things", no need for a screwdriver for this part. Then, you secure the fan component onto the rod, this time you do need a screwdriver. Finally, after you put the batteries in the remote, place the remote in its home!

Even though it isn't air conditioning weather, I have been using this fan all day. I keep it on low, so that the nursery doesn't get stuffy. I have the air off and this fan going and my house feels amazing! I cant see how I was able to tolerate that bulky and loud box fan before!
