Ozeri Body Measuring Tape & Fat Caliper

Lately, I have been trying to stay healthy. I have lost a lot of weight, but I still need to tone up. I used to watch a lot of those shows like The Greatest Loser. On those shows I would see them calculate their body fat percentage. I have always wondered how much I actually need to lose or turn into muscle to have a healthy amount of fat.

I was quite happy when Ozeri offered to review their Body Measuring Tape and Fat Caliper. I immediately tried out the product. The only challenge was taking a picture while using it! I used my husband as my photographer this time. It was my luck that he was being grumpy pants and after a certain amount of pictures he quit his job as "photographer" haha!

I first tried out the fat caliper. I was not happy at the results. I honestly did not even look at the number. I am even kind of happy that my husband took cruddy images of this. I can be oblivious to the number and continue on my journey to toning up!

 Next, I used the measuring tape. I really like the fact it has a slot so it makes a circle around the area you are measuring. This way you can look at your measurement without having to hold it in place. It also takes away the question if the measuring tape moved and you know the number is correct. The only downside is in order to have the large part sit against your body right, the cm measurement  is the side that shows. In the U.S., I grew up learning in inches. So I have to make note of my CM measurement and find its inches equivalent once I take it off.

TOTU Mens Necklace and Bracelet

I love jewelry. I love earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets. All of it! Lately I have been trying to get my husband to wear something other than our wedding ring when we go out to eat. My mom got him a watch for Christmas one year, but he does not wear that. I honestly think it looks a little girly.


I was happy to be given the opportunity to review TOTU's mens necklace and bracelet set.

    

 

 The necklace and bracelet came individually wrapped in a cute box with an equally cute thank you note. I love the extra care put in packaging this product!

The necklace and bracelet itself are quite chunky. I like the style of chain and the length, but they are just a little too chunky for my taste. Both my husband and I are thin framed and have dainty wrists. I honestly feel like my husband is trying to have one of those Flavor Flav necklaces minus the clock at the end of it. 

Now, don't get me wrong. It is not a bad bracelet and necklace set at all. Everyone has different tastes and is built differently. It just turns out that this set isn't for us. I do recommend the product itself. It would make a perfect Fathers Day gift, birthday gift, or just spoil your husband gift!

HOPDAY Delicates Mesh Laundry Bags

Everyone has those delicate items in their wardrobe. Bra's, Underwear, that pretty sparkly dress. They are great to wear but when it comes to washing them, they're not so great. Wash them together with your regular load, you might damage them or your other clothes. On the other hand you can do a separate "delicates" load, but that's extra time spent separating the laundry.

When I was younger, I used to take the time to separate loads into lights, darks, and delicates.
Now, I am married with two kids and a working college student. I do not have the time to do all of that separating anymore. When I have the time, I gather up all the laundry I can and toss it in to be washed. 


In the past, I have actually ruined a couple of my favorite articles of clothing because of the velcro on some of my kids bibs. Now that I do not use bibs anymore, I do not have to worry about that. I do have a sequin filled sparkly dress, bras, and lacy delicate underwear.

Essentially every time I washed my laundry, I would cross my fingers and pray that nothing got ruined. That was before I got Hopday's delicate mesh laundry bags! Now, all I have to do is place all the delicate items inside one of the four bags I received and toss them in the washer. No more praying that they will not be ruined! I can now rely on these great mesh bags.

 My daughter has loved her "blankies" since she was itty bitty.

Our first swaddle blanket. A hand me down bamboo one!

For the longest time Samantha would only sleep when swaddled. Now that she is almost two, we love the muslin swaddle blankets still! We live in Florida and my daughter will not go to sleep with out her blanky. These muslin swaddle blankets are perfect for our warm Floridian nights!

Swaddle Designs prints for these singles are uber adorable! I received one with XOXO all over it and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Also, most importantly, Samantha loves it just as much!

Now that Samantha is almost two, we dont swaddle anymore. She loves to drag around her blankets and sleep with them. Their blankets are not only great for Florida weather. Their breathable blanket is why i choose to use their product.

One night i went to check on Samantha, only to find that she was all wrapped up in her blanket and it was covering her face! I about had a mini heart attack as i rushed to uncover her face! It was because of the breath-ability of the lightweight blanket that she didn't ultimately smother in her sleep!
