Hopday LED lights

In December we purchased a home. Ever since I have been in the process of unpacking boxes... slowly. Organizing, downsizing, and decorating. Painting is a big task to do in our house, but at least we have started. All that we really have to do in my kids rooms is touch up some paint and finish the trim in each room and chair rail in my sons room. Even though we still have to paint pretty much every other room, I have been starting to hang pictures and my husband has to mount our t.v. to the wall.

I have replaced the shower head in the master bathroom and hung cute curtains in my kids rooms. I even have a new garage door motor to install. I am seriously addicted to shopping on amazon! I have had an idea for this really cool candle holder of mine ever since I thought about mounting the t.v.. It will be placed on our t.v. unit below the t.v..

It was not until recently that my cute idea for where the candle holder is got a facelift. I was given the opportunity to review these really cool led lights from Hopday. I was super excited to open this package when it arrived!

The lights essentially look like a long piece of wire. You can bend it into a shape and it stays like that. I got a kit with a short length of lights with an attached battery pack and a long length of lights that plugs in.

So far I have found a perfect use for the short one with the battery pack, but I am still looking for a use for the very long one. I still have a lot to do around the house when it comes to maintenance and decorating. I am sure I will find something just as neat as I did with the short one.
Back to the candle holder. I decided I would wrap the wire lights around this candle holder. I honestly bought it for looks, I really do not want to burn the candles in it. With these lights wrapped around the holder, it gives it a really need glow. I honestly was surprised how good it looked!

Cove Castile Soap Lavender

It is funny how we get into a routine and everything we do ends up being such a habit. I remember as a kid that as soon as I hit puberty and had smelly underarms, I was instructed to wear deodorant. It was not until recently that I encountered aluminum free deodorant. I was thrown for a big loop... I have been putting a stick version of a metal alloy on my underarms all these years?

I am a huge fan of Bath and Body Works body wash. Even that product has bad ingredients. Two of these bad ingredients are Benzoyl Alcohol and Methylparapen. Benzyol Alcohol can cause problems with the liver while Methylparaben can cause cancer and mess with the hormones of both men and women. I cant believe that 99.9% of my shower routine is THAT bad for my overall health!

I recently was able to review Cove Castile Soap. Lately, I have been so overwhelmed with final exams and final projects for college, I honestly thought it was just a plain old body wash. When I was given the opportunity to review this product, I thought cool! I get to review a Vegan, Organic body wash. BOY I was wrong! I found out that this soap is concentrated  and has to be the jack of all trades when it comes to washes!

First, let me explain the product itself.  This soap is a "pure and vegan" product. There are two "scents" in this soap. Lavender and Unscented. I chose the lavender. I love to take night time showers because it relaxes me and I figured the lavender would further the effect of my relaxing shower! This soap has certified organic oils Argan, Jojoba, and Hemp in it.

Here is the cool part. Notice I keep calling it soap? I am not only doing this because it is what it says on the container, but because of how many uses it has! On the soap bottle there is a list of uses and how to dilute it, since its concentrated. From body wash to a multi purpose cleaner there are so many uses for this product!

The recipes are easy to follow and does not call for many ingredients. For example, the body wash/ hand soap recipe calls for half a cup of water and half a cup of this product. Not only is that awesome, but it smells SO good!
I cannot wait to try as many uses of this product I can. I think I will try the hand soap and hand washing dish soap next!

Ozeri Wine Shield

Good Lord... I hate hate hate being sick. It took FOREVER to feel like myself again and even then I still dont 100% have my energy back.

I feel good enough to write a review on a product that required me to buy wine! LOL I told my husband to pick me up some and he hesitantly asked why. I told him it was for a product review and he reluctantly obliged.

I am not a huge wine drinker though and I am very picky about what I drink. I do not like to put anything to waste either. If I have a bottle of wine I just don't like I will have a glass here and there and if we have someone over for dinner, I will offer a glass of wine.

BUT wine does not stay fresh very long. I actually stopped trying different wines because of this. I would get it and drink a couple glasses and it would go ... stale... does wine go stale? hmm

I got this amazing product from Ozeri called a wine shield. It is this flat looking clear piece of material that you put in the wine bottle and this slows the process of oxidation (reason wine goes "stale") leaving the wine fresh for longer.

The product comes with 10 wine shields (that's and excuse to buy 10 bottles of wine haha!) and this applicator thing. All you have to do is pour your first glass of wine or more! Then follow the directions and slid the applicator onto the shield and then shove the applicator down the wine bottle. You should end up with an empty applicator and a floating shield in your wine bottle! Super easy!

So far I am not a fan of the wine my husband got... it was my fault though I told him to surprise me and the name looked yummy. Maybe my taste buds were still out of wack from being sick who knows! All I know is this shield definitely has kept my wine fresh for much longer than usual!

Check out this great product here.
